My favorite childhood memories are from unstructured play time. I spent many an hour with friends riding bikes, climbing trees and rollerskating.
It has been only in the last few years that I've realized that the reason play is so amazing is because when we are at play nothing else in the whole world matters but what we are engaged in in that moment. Worries, anxieties and stress from our conscious minds are gone and are replaced with the the creativity of our subconscious minds and the art of being completely in the moment of our being right now.
What happens to your mind when you play? What is your favorite form of play?
