What a great hike we had in Lighthouse Park! We survived the torrential rain and the little streams flowing through the trails! We all agreed had it not been for the group we would not have gone out in that weather. The ocean views, the crisp fall smells and the great conversation made for a terrific morning!
This week we will be hiking Brothers Creek at the top of the British Properties. This is an area where I have mountain biked before. The forest is quite lush with lots of left overs from the old saw mill that used to be at work up there.
If you haven't been able to join us yet I hope that this week you can! We will be meeting at 9:15AM at the gates to Brothers Creek on Millstream Road. We will then hike for approximately 2 hours.
The driving directions are at the bottom of the attachment. We will be parking in a residential neighborhood. Again as you all know we hike rain or shine so wear your layers and bring a hat if it is raining!
